That Was a Game 003 – Spy Muppets: License to Croak

We continue our James Bond series by looking at a Muppets/007 parody – Spy Muppets: License to Croak for the Game Boy Advance.  Kermit stars as Agent Frog, Gonzo plays villain Dr. Nose, and Miss Piggy appears as double-agent Piggy Galore!

That Was a Game 002 – James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing

We continue looking at weird James Bond 007 videogames by looking at 2004’s JAMES BOND 007: EVERYTHING OR NOTHING for the Gamecube, Playstation 2, and original Xbox.  EVERYTHING OR NOTHING marks Pierce Brosnan’s last turn as the British superspy.

It’s also incredibly strange because publisher Electronic Arts pulled out all the stops to make this as close as possible to “The next James Bond movie, but in game form!” To do this, they hired Bruce Feirstein, writer of Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and The World is Not Enough, to pen the game script.  And they filled the game with a star-studded cast of motion-captured automatons, played by Pierce Brosnan, Willem Dafoe, Heidi Klum, John Cleese, and Dame Judi Dench.

You guys, 2004 was a weird time for videogames.
