It’s time for some modern crime stuff that’s based on a true story and also totally made up. It’s Christopher Cantwell and Tyler Crook’s Out of Alcatraz!

Based on the infamous escape from 1962, it follows the story of the 3 mysterious inmates who were never found again. Interesting stuff! 

Then we move onto Ultimates #11 which gave us a lot to talk about! Like why did the bad guy spend half the issue monologuing about his plan and then change it?

Some of My Friends Read Comics 215 – Harrow County, Vol. 2 + Earth X #2

Spooks! Haints! Evil twins! Shrek! They’re all here (except Shrek) in the second volume of Harrow County.

We all enjoyed the first volume when we read it a few years ago, so we decided to jump back in to continue the story and see more of the excellently horrific art. 

Then we continue Earth X with issue #2. Are we on board with this series yet? Will we ever be? Only time will tell.

Some of My Friends Read Comics 140 – Harrow County + Squadron Supreme #5

Spooky month continues with a highly praised modern horror comic called Harrow County. It’s a witch book by Cullen Bunn with watercolor finished art by Tyler Crook, so we just had to try it!

The first volume, Countless Haints, was only 4 issues and the haints were honestly pretty countable.

Then we moved on to Squadron Supreme #5 where the entire team gets mind controlled AGAIN.
