It’s a rare condition in this day and age to hear any good news on the News Podcasts page. That’s why this week all your friends are traveling back to a simpler time, a time when the whole family could gather round the television for TGIF.
Each panelist will try their hand at pitching the perfect lineup of TGIF shows, with only one being awarded the coveted Friday night slot. Topics include: disappearing sitcom family children, weird times for puppets, and the enduring legacy of Narl.
Thank Goodness It’s Funny!

Muppets Tonight! I rewatched that whole series recently, it ended up running for two seasons and was way ahead of it’s time. But Scott, you’re wrong about Clifford. He wasn’t in Electric Mayhem, he was in another Muppet band called Solid Foam that debuted during The Jim Henson Hour which was a super weird mixed format thing from the late 80’s where the Muppets were running a cable tv network
The band’s keyboard player, Digit (who doubled as the Tech Director) looks like a stoned Dylan. Enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vp9BYqfAKWc#t=22m40s
