The newest James Bond 007 movie opens this week, and though we already had a James Bond episode this year, there’s no lack of things to talk about when it comes to Britain’s top super spy!

This week, our panel of James Bond experts, hipsters, and musically uninclined people are here to rank all 24 James Bond theme songs from top to bottom.

Listen as one panelist attempts to sabotage the list by subtly sneaking not-really a James Bond song “Kingston Calypso” too high, another panelist summarizes academic research about what Madonna’s “Die Another Day” lyrics really mean, and another panelist imagines a world where the “Quantum of Solace” was sung by Jack Black instead of Jack White.

Corrections and Omissions
After we posted, I discovered that Kevin McClory had nothing to do with the 6-year gap between License to Kill and Goldeneye.  There were contract disputes, but they were about foreign distribution rights.
